First and foremost, Part 2 makes it quite clear that the mansion that most of the game takes place in IS a second house (the opening shot of the ruins of West Mansion and stage 1 also make this clear, but it's not explicitly stated as such in 2). Jennifer's fate seems a little more clear-cut in Part 2 as opposed to 2, and the Mask seems to be a little less seductive with its offer of power in Part 2.
