In the year 200X, the world trembles in fear of cyber-terror crimes. Then, early reports of a new computer virus hit the Internet: Codename "White Baby", this new virus is designed to snatch control of each country's main military computer system. The terror organization calling itself "Amadeus (Beloved Of God)" proclaims its capability to breach any security network using the "White Baby" virus. After hearing the declaration, the International Urgent Countermeasure Conference decides on two main objectives. First, to strengthen countermeasures. Second, to combat "Amadeus" directly. With combat on the networks already beginning, sending a commando unit against the enemy is close at hand. In the meantime, reliable reports filter in from all over the world that "Amadeus" is preparing to attack global communications facilities. Tarma and Eri are dispatched as bodyguards to the team assigned to develop a vaccine against the "White Baby" virus. Marco, Fio, and new characters Trevor and Nadia perform their own missions in the fight against the "Amadeus" terrorists. Just before being dispatched, they are astonished by new satellite surveillance pictures of "Amadeus" targets. One of the members of "Amadeus" is none other than Devil Reverse Morden!
Here's a little MS4 fact for any fans of the series... they finally made the characters have 'differences'... FOR THE WORSE. For God's sake, if you want to have a slight 'advantage' and if you're playing for score (like I always do), don't pick the 'new' characters... Trevor has a very akward melee attack that STOPS him in mid run and can't penetrate a shield grunt's shield. Nadia isn't really handicapped, but I'd like to know who messed up her programming for scoring... she gets the same 100 points whether she shoots OR melees a grunt, not 500 per slash like the other chars. <: (makes you understand why people miss Tarma and Eri...just pick Marco or Fio)
Open Gallery Mode: Successfuly complete the final mission with any character. By this I mean escaping the final base in the helicopter, as opposed to getting caught in the explosion. Each time you win, you'll get another picture in the gallery.
