The late Dr. Roger West dedicated his life to studying the themes of immortality, biological resuscitation, the creation of artificial life, and even the summoning of spirits. As a result, Dr. West's laboratory, located in the middle of nowhere, became an abominable place where hair-raising monsters were born and roamed around; a gateway to hell, so to speak. It became known as the "Splatterhouse", where the devil lives.

Tragedy struck when Rick, a parapsychology student at Z State University, heard a rumor about the Splatterhouse, which piqued his interest. One day, Rick and his girlfriend, Jennifer, who studied parapsychology with him, came close to the West Mansion's laboratory. A sudden thunderstorm hit the area, and the two were lured into the building! And so began these two captives' nightmare...

A mysterious spirit in a mask possesses Rick and gives him strange powers. But where is Jennifer?
