Game Info | Screenshots | Tips | Reviews REVIEWS: This is definitely one of the best homemade games I have ever played through. It certainly does the series justice by using sprites from all three games and factoring in nearly every enemy the series has to offer. None of the custom sprites look out of place, and the maps themselves are very well-designed. Although technically a short game, it can take hours to figure everything out and find all of the required items. This is also a challenging game, as the enemies are numerous and brutal. Thankfully, most fights can be avoided, so it's only as hard as you want to make it. The music is taken from all over the series, and I must say, the effective use of it for each situation made me realize just how eerie and awesome the soundtrack in the SH series is. Although I beat it in just one day, that was truly a day to remember. Even if you don't like RPGs, but you love Splatterhouse, download this game post-haste before Biggy Man turns you into a bloody pool with wet chunks floating about. - Mike "sotenga", former West Mansion PR man |
